The company was established in the year 1979 by Mr. Mohsin Mubarak Al Khowar, Chairman of this giant corporate. During the course of time, the company was taken close to the heart of his son, Mr. Hassan Mohsin Al Khowar, and moulded to present dimensions by efficiently harnessing the core activities in his official capacity as Managing Director of the company. (1) Bin-Al-Sheikh Building Materials
This unit is mainly engaged in the trading of Building Materials of standard quality by importing mainly from Austria, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, UAE, Etc. and catering to the requirements of building industry located in the State of Qatar. Formerly, the above activities were functioning as Hardware Division of Bin-Al-Sheikh Trading Company and later decided to function as an independent unit focusing on the scope of business going in upward trend which is being now once again reassured in a scenario imminent in the circumstance the country is hosting FIFA World Cup 2022.
(2) Bin-Al-Sheikh Rebar Factory
This is a sophisticated semi-automatic computerized plant for the fabrication of Cut & Bends, the products essentially consumed in construction industries. This factory is equipped with a plant capacity of > 10,000 MT output per month and some innovation activities are under way in order to ensure better output in the days to come.
(3) Steel Division
Trading activities of deformed steel bars manufactured by Qatar Steel are functioning under this division. Being an Authorized Agent of Qatar Steel Company (QSC), Bin-Al-Sheikh Trading Company plays an important role in catering to the requirements of a large number of construction units based in Qatar with readiness to meet a volume of > 15,000 MT per month.
(4) Heavy Equipment Division
This division is engaged in renting out of Cranes, Trailers, Excavators, Fork-lifts, Etc. of various capacities to local construction companies. Fleets of 55 Cranes ranging from capacity 25 MT to 130 MT + 45 Trailers of 40 ft Long-bed +10 Excavators of various capacities + A number of HD Fork-lifts are presently put on services in Qatar sites.
(5) Real Estate Division
Many housing / office facilities are available with this division in the own buildings located in several parts of Doha – Qatar including Grand Hamed Avenue (Bank Street), Musheireb, Al Sadd, Hilal, Industrial area, etc. Activity of this division is going well with promising results.
